Ponderings with Pastor John meets most Wednesdays from 10:00-11:30 am. Topics include history, spirituality, scripture, self-care, and current events.
Spiritual Life Groups are offered most Tuesdays from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon and Thursdays from 6:30 to 7:30 pm. These discussions feature the Gospel of John (Tuesdays) or the Acts of the Apostles (Thursdays). Each week we will have time for prayer, share questions, insights, joys, and struggles. We will close with a time to pray for and with each other. This is an ongoing group. You may join us at any time to try it out. Come and see! Contact the office to sign up for this group.
Other learning opportunities are scheduled on a frequent basis.

CAUCC members began meeting in early 2022 to define the congregation’s sense of identity and discern who God is calling it to be. As a part of that process, members recognized they may be more effective promoting, protecting and advocating for those who are marginalized by responding as a community of faith as well as individually. We also recognized that effective response requires knowledge of issues from perspectives that are not limited by what we perceive them to be. That includes the need for information and historical context from those we seek to serve by our ministry’s work. Speakers and discussion groups help us to understand justice issues in the context of theology and to better understand root causes of injustice.
