Coming to Casas Adobes Congregational United Church of Christ (CAUCC) for the first time?
We’d like to welcome you and answer some questions that you may have before visiting our Church campus.
What should I know?
-
We are at 6801 North Oracle Rd in the Casas Adobes area. Going South on Oracle Rd, our Church campus is on the right, with a red sign at the entrance. Parking is in front or on either side of the Church building. Handicap parking and access is available in front of the Church Offices. The Sanctuary entrance is at the far left of the building as you are facing it. Contact us for more information.
-
Given the Tucson climate, we dress casually, however, if you want to put on your “Sunday Best,” go for it!
-
We are an Open and Affirming Congregation of the United Church of Christ (UCC). The UCC is a distinct and diverse community of Christians that joins faith and action. As an intentionally Open and Affirming (ONA) congregation, our doors are open to all.
What time are worship services?
-
Our Sunday worship service is from 9:30 to 10:30 am and is available in-person and online (streaming and recorded) with our Pastors Michael Bush and John Angiulo. After the Sunday worship service, all are welcome to join us at our coffee hour in McNear Hall, just off our beautiful courtyard.
During the week, there are a variety of worship and spirituality opportunities with our pastors.
-
We also hold a contemplative chapel service on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month from 8:30 to 9:00 am. This can be attended separately or in addition to the 9:30 am Sunday worship service.
-
We offer an in-person Taizé-Inspired Worship service the second Thursday of each month from 6:30 to 7:15 pm. This alternative worship service is lit by soft candlelight and features soothing music, prayerful readings and meditative silence.
